Hillcrest International Schools invite applications for the post ofDirector of ICT to work with the Principal as a Deputy Head across the whole schools’ group.

Located in Nairobi, Kenya, Hillcrest International Schools is a leading British Curriculum school and the only HMC member in the East African region, with a strong reputation for academic strength and all round excellence. 



It is our intention to lead the region and the continent in visionary usage of ICT and this newly created post will be a key appointment in achieving this target.

After a good inspection report from ISI, Hillcrest seeks a dynamic candidate to create and lead the schools’ ICT strategic vision, bringing innovation and enthusiasm to this key leadership role. The Director of ICT will report directly to the Principal and work with the Heads and Senior Leadership teams in Prep and Secondary schools.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in ICT in schools, ideally across sectors, be an excellent teacher of ICT and be passionate about working with staff and students at all levels to make ICT an integral tool in the schools’ educational platform.

Hillcrest benefits from excellent staff and a large, well resourced site nestled in the heart of the comfortable Nairobi suburb of Karen. 

The first stage of our ICT plan includes 1:1 device roll out for 500+ users in September 2014 and a complete rebuild of our network with site wide wifi provision.
